Online Media Buyer

Proven experience as Media Buyer or similar role; experience in digital media is preferred

In this role, you should be an effective negotiator, critical thinker and able to establish trust and build rapport with clients and media professionals. If you’re knowledgeable about current media channels and advertising options, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to optimize ad exposure and outdo competition while staying within budgets.

  • Strategize, execute, and manage a variety of client Facebook and Google Ad Campaigns from conception to creative to execution to analysis
  • Help identify target audiences and plan media campaigns
  • Compare and negotiate rates, ad space and schedules
  • Optimize plans and budgets according to the best media mix
  • Continuously measure and optimize campaign performance while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future tests
  • Prepare schedules and adjust when needed
  • Experiment with new platforms and channels
  • Ensure ads are creative and displayed appropriately
  • Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI)
  • Develop marketing strategies and create a clear roadmap to support and achieve client’s business objectives
  • Work closely with the creative team to advise on content creation
  • Generates weekly reports for clients and be able to speak to the WHY behind each marketing decision and campaign results
  • Gather data on consumer, competitor, and market conditions

  • College Graduate (Marketing, Business, Advertising or related field)
  • Proven experience as Media Buyer or similar role; experience in digital media is preferred
  • Interest in following advertising and media trends
  • Attention to detail
  • Critical thinking skills
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • 2+ years of paid Facebook advertising experience (BluePrint certified a huge plus)
  • 2+ years of managing your own clients or a book of business within an agency
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Assertive and professional verbal communicator
  • Digital ads copywriting skills with a creative eye and ability to execute on creative concepts
  • Exceptional time management skills, handling multiple projects and on-going work items
